Hello and welcome to swiss miss baking

Have you ever wanted to to make beautiful, professional-looking tarts, but feel you can never get it just right? 

Making pastry is not hard, but you must observe a few simple rules.  By joining me in my kitchen, in Brunswick East, I will teach you the art of pastry making so that you can bake wonderful creations and impress yourself, your family and your friends.

My philosophy is to create delicious treats by using simple and fresh ingredients.  Nothing is complicated, but it takes a little time, a small amount of skill and sometimes a little luck! 


Most of all, it's passion and enthusiasm for all things nice and tasty....

Examples of swiss miss treats:

  • Apple or pear tart with a creamy custard filling (tarte aux pommes ou aux poires avec liaison)
  • Lemon tart (tarte au citron)
  • Fruit tart with crème pâtissière (tarte aux fruits avec crème pâtissière)
  • Raspberry frangipane tart
  • Quiches
  • Small savoury tartelets (cheese, leek & bacon, leek & mushroom)*

* these small savoury tartelets are perfect as an aperitif to accompany a glass of wine or bubbly.
